Posts from the promotor of Valley Speedway. Anyone planning on running that live within 100 miles of Kansas City should contact him.
OK we put up some extra money for the SMP event and our local guys did great. I will do the same thing for the local open wheel guys that commit by August 10th. I will put up an additional $500 for the winner, $100 for 2nd - 10th and additional $50 11th - 22nd.
I realize this is a taller order than the SMP event but we have some fast guns within 100 miles of Valley Speedway.
You have to get a temporary USAC permit that will be free and it is $40 entry fee. So here is a chance for the locals to get on the track with world class Sprint teams.
We will be adding other incentives for our local talent as we get closer.
Send your information to
dennisshrout@valleyspeedway.com to qualify for extra money and prizes. Remember I consider local drivers within close to 100 miles of the KC area.

also if you run a 360
I talked to USAC today and in addition to what I am putting up for the local drivers making the show, they are going to pay the top finishing 360 an extra $500. That means that if a local 360 driver that has notified me finishes 10th they will get $1,325.
This should get some of the 360 guys excited. USAC is extending the same offer to the 360 cars that race at Eagle Raceway, Dodge City, and Valley Speedway. The extra $500 for the top finishing 360 will be paid by USAC no matter where you are from at all three tracks.
The 360 guys at Valley have done great this year (running with the 410's), here is a chance to pick up a little extra money.

another post from the promoter.
I just recieved another email from USAC and they clairified that they would pay the top non 410 Sprint the extra $500 at each of the three tracks. So that means you can bring out you 305 if you would like and have a shot at the extra money. The 305s have won half of our races this year so you guys have got a shot at the extra $500.
