True Chuck, but i'm not sure how it evens out? special events are mostly $30 with the exception of the Lucas Oil Show and the $10,000 to win shows. See ya Saturday!!

How much is a pit pass for kids 10 and under at Burg? Maybe that's the difference. And LPS general admission is $13. Posted using Mobile Device

[QUOTE=Dave Rudisell;244634]Pit passes $25 for all ages.
So 2 adults and 3 kids under age 10 at Burg=$125.00
the same at LPS=$60.00
Looks like that $30 pit pass isn't so bad after all especially if anyone has young kids. I know alot of racers families that like to be in the pits and this saves them alot of money at LPS! : )
No offense to Dave I think he does a great job and does not deserve all the stuff thrown at him on this board but this is the main reason I don't run their more often. The new Lawrenceburg is one of the most family friendly tracks to a spectator but probably the least family friendly as a racer. As a single Dad most places charge the same for kids as an adult and I understand it may have something to do with insurance. My point is when they redid the track the pits and the grandstands were put in two different counties. At the old Burg I could look up from working on my race car and see what my family was doing and sit next to them for a race or two. You can't do this with the new layout. It also creates a kind of separation that a lot of fans told me they hate about the new track, but Dave and his crew have added things like the redraw to help this. I wish I could pay general admission for my kids to sit in the pit stands because that is really all they want to do is watch the races and hangout with their Dad every so often. That's why you see me as a general admission spectator more often than a racer. I wish they could do something because I know others like me. I will be back though. I have to because I was slower than the water truck last time. On the rest of the crap like track prep and such you guys need to lay off. Dave wants to see agood show just like the rest of us.
