I grew up in Anderson Township in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have always been interested in sports announcing ever since I dressed up as a local TV sportscaster for Halloween back in 5th grade. I attended Northern Kentucky University and graduated in 2001 with a bachelor degree in Radio/TV broadcasting. In 1999 I got my first gig announcing high school basketball. The next fall I began announcing High School football. I have since announced baseball, soccer, Lacrosse, and numerous other local and community events. I continue to announce for the Anderson Redskins in Cincinnati, Ohio.
How did I get involved in racing? Let me explain… During High School I found out one of the science teachers at the school I attended, raced in a TQ club called UMRA. He invited me to tag along, and help him as his pit crew.. At that time, UMRA had a very good announcer in Scott Schultz that did an excellent job for the club. He found out I was in school for broadcasting, so he often invited me to guest announce on the UMRA circuit. Scott continued as track announcer for UMRA for a few more years, before deciding to move on. I suppose he influenced UMRA in asking me to replace him, and that is what landed me with UMRA. I began with UMRA full time in 2004 (I believe), and traveled to each and every race all over the state of Indiana for 4 years, only missing the races I could not make because of my day job. I have enjoyed my time with UMRA more than most realize. I owe many people in UMRA a big thank you for giving me the opportunity to be where I am today.
Just last year, coincidentally UMRA visited Lawrenceburg, and Dave Rudisell had asked me to fill in and announce for his program as well. I thought, WOW…. "I get to announce at Lawrenceburg Speedway!" Dave, was gracious enough to ask me to fill in throughout the summer, and eventually asked me to come back in 2008 as track announcer. I am extremely excited for what the Rudisell's and the city of Lawrenceburg is doing to make The Lawrenceburg Speedway one of the Premier dirt tracks in the country. I am just glad to be a part of it! 2008 should be an exciting season for Lawrenceburg, so everyone make sure to come on out to the track!
To my friends from UMRA, you are all wonderful people, and I will miss you very much.. I will continue to follow your club and look forward to visiting your races from time to time. To the drivers, crews, and fans of Lawrenceburg, I will do my very best to provide you with an enjoyable and professional announcing experience. I strive to make the experience enjoyable for not only the diehard fan, but also the fan that may be attending their very first race. I look forward to getting to know all of you throughout the season and please don't hesitate to say hello if you see me walking around See everyone at THE BURG!:checkered:

(TQannouncer)- I think I need to change this….
Hey Chad, I grew up in Anderson Township too (on Collinsdale if you know where that is). Did you go to Anderson High School? I graduated from Anderson in ...dare I say the year...1969. So I am a bit, well, really a lot older than you.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing you at the 'burg this year.
