However, at this point, it seems they are still trying to save the online version of NSSN. If this is successful, perhaps any remaining subscription balance will be applied there.

Yeah, me too. I always thought it was a joke until about 5 years ago. Seems like persistance paid off.

Like my friend from Anderson, I'll miss the Editor's Notebook, along with the contributions from Mr. Argabright, Mr. London, Mr. Mike O'Leary and Mr. George Peters.

Dave was and is a bigger influence on me than he'll ever know. I'd read his column and think to myself, "I can do that." And, as it turned out, I could---though not nearly as well as Dave.

I'd nursed vague notions of writing for NSSN, but it wasn't meant to be. But it's worked out for the best, thanks to Mr. Big Mojo and that plumber guy from the big state in the East.

RIP, NSSN. And thanks to Chris, Corinne and company for the memories.
