We live about 5 hours away so when we stay 2 nights in a motel it ends up about a $500.00 weekend for us but its well worth it. But as I said earlier I would go for everything even if there wasn't midgets.

I would agree that the amount of passing and closeness of the top three cars in the 600's can be the most exciting racing all weekend.

Not sure how difficult that would be haha but it sure would take a large facility and a lot of dirt.
Instead of your buddies talking you in to watching a fight, why don't you talk them into going to The Rumble?

At least there's a good chance that a fight, will break out into a race! It will make your mind work OT, trying to keep up with a favorite car, a 20 lap heat will be over in a heart beat, if it goes flag to flag, which it sometimes does, you, as much as some of the drivers, do need a yellow once in a while, to settle down a bit, then for the drivers, they have to stay focused, if they lose their focus, they're pretty much done. I can sometimes talk them into going to Gas City with me on a Friday night if they have nothing to do, but even then it's a challenge. They aren't race fans I guess, but whatever! At the end of this past season when it started getting cold I was makin the trips to Gas City and Kokomo by myself I'm strongly considering getting new friends!
