ATTENTION: We are sorry to announce that the the event at the Lucky 7 Speedway located in Whitesburg Kentucky has been postponed until next spring. The decision was made this morning to reschedule the event because of the sudden down turn of the local economy and the difficulty of obtaining the necessary insurance to have a sprint car race that is sanctioned by our series. We are looking forward to rescheduling our race with the Lucky 7 Speedway next year and look forward to working with their staff. We are sorry for any inconvenience but to see you all at our FINALE at the PONDEROSA SPEEDWAY this Friday night.
ASCT READY TO BATTLE IN THE BLUEGRASS STATE
The American Sprint Car Tour is primed and ready for a trip south to the Bluegrass State of Kentucky with “The Battle in the Bluegrass State.” It will be the 2nd trip of the season to Kentucky where earlier this season Hud Cone held off Blake Nimee, Alex Shanks, Aric Gentry, and J.T. Stapp for the win in “The Bluegrass Shootout” at the ½ mile high-banked clay oval of the Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown,KY.
The first night of “The Battle in the Bluegrass State” will be at the 3/8 mile semi-banked red clay D-shaped oval of the Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City Kentucky. This is a rescheduled date from the rain out earlier this season.
For The First Time This Season The ASCT WILL QUALIFY!! The Sprint Cars will have 2 Laps on the clock to try to break the all time Track Record held by Victor Lee in a Super Late Model at a time of 12.744 seconds around the 3/8 mile track known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring.” The 25 Lap A-Main will pay $1500 to the Winner and $250 just to Start. $100 Tow Money is guaranteed to anyone not starting the feature event.
