Last time I talked to phil richardson the new promotor. He was talking about paying 800-1000.00 to win 150.00 to start but pay better thru the field instead of putting all on top.

April 4th has been cancelled. Phil is adding clay in the curves and hasn't had the weather on his side to complete it in time for the opener. He's trying to move the sprint opener to the middle of the month, but I know he nor Jacksonville want to compete against each other. How's that for promoters working together? Also be aware, Jacksonville doesnt run a sprint race in July until the 3rd weekend of the month, which in turn, Lincoln is going to run the Sat night after J'ville does on that Friday, to give anyone wanting to travel a little, to get 2 nights of racing relatively close.

Hey Steve, Did you mean Lincoln Illinois? I work here in lincoln and have heard nothing of this. Would be great if it is true but I would be surprised. I like that VCS and J-ville are trying not to but heads. Great work and lets get this season started...

I checked the website 2008 schedule & a sprint race 4 Apr. is not listed. What's UP?
