I take one night off, and look at the fun that I missed. It even happened in turn 3, the spot that I shoot from.

You could have gotten some good shots......the track was real rough and the Mini-Sprints were bouncing all over the place. There were a couple of un-forced flips caused by ruts in the track. Could have been worse than it ended up being. I think there were only 8 cars out of 20 left at the end of the feature.

I see guys driving like this all the time. Mini sprints...late models...sprints...whatever. It's simple...you don't go all the way up the racetrack unless u KNOW there's nobody near u. He must have thought he had the 4 car cleared. He was wrong. It was an accident...there are no mirrors or radios in this sport. It happens.
That being said...if I were driving the 4 car, I would calmly and kindly as possible...let the other guy know after the race that he needs to use his head a little more. Hopefully it won't continue...although I doubt this will ever stop. Again, it's racing. It happens.

I don't think the debate really is who's fault it was, or who was involved......the question in my mind is was it a DQ'able offense? Like I said, I've seen worse not called.....and if the 28 had not won would a call have been made?
You've already seen various opinions posted.....some say the 28 shouldn't have moved up, others say the 4 should have seen him and let off. Typical racing, it's all open to debate. My only issue is a call being made because someone went to Jerry and complained. It should have been handled driver-to-driver after the race, there was really no reason for the AMSA to DQ the 28.
I guess from now on if you are unhappy with an outcome you complain to Jerry......that's setting a bad precident for when this happens again, and it will happen again.
The call should have been made by the track, or it shouldn't have been made at all.

the burg dosnt make judgment calls. if it was me in the place of the 4 car everyone would say it was intentional. its all about how you are as to how tou see it. humans are kinda like pack animals. that driver an CREW have done more harm then good to the rest of the pack an the pack is having a kick back towards that driver. you eather fit in with the pack or you dont. an along the way they are degrading a great driver. this thread was un needed!
