A week or so after I got back home from my Sprint Week trip, I got to thinking about a week or week and a half long early season sprint series for the wingless set in Ind. Basically a race at every track going in Ind. (THAT, Bloomington, Haubstadt, Kokomo, Gas, Vernon, The Burg, Put, Brownstown and yes Paragon Intl. Super Speedway) in consectutive nights. A $50,000 feature purse for each race at $10,000 to win and $500 to start. In addition a $50,000 point fund for the series that would be awarded and broken down to the top 5 in points. I dubbed it something like the Ind. Spring Spectacular because I would stage it in March right before the season started. I know weather could be a factor but I would want every team I could get to run the series with out USAC screwing things up scheduling against it. Whatdaya think of that?

mine would be called the midwest non wing warriors sprint car series. we would run non wing 410 sprints. we would normally run 2 times, sometimes 3 times a week. we would run around 35 races a season ALL ON DIRT. we would mainly run in indiana with some exceptions. tracks would be: lawrenceburg, bloomington, haubstadt, gas city, kokomo, terre haute, and lincoln park in indiana. out of indiana i would run at knoxville, eldora, and willy grove. we would have no tire rule. i would want guys who just LOVE to run sprint cars on dirt without the wing. we would pay more than USAC and have 2 provisionals a season.
