After the heats, the points are: Clauson, Jones, Stanbrough, Larson, Hines, Darland, Weir, Kaeding, Gardner, Ballou, Windom, Bloom, Wolfgang, Coons, Cummins

so then, what do the qualifiers decide and do they only run one each?

everyone runs a qualifier with the top 18 inverted from the heats.....same points as the heats...points for where you finish plus passing points....after the qualifiers... top 18 in points locked into A... with rest to the B..which they will take top 4 to A...maybe 6 transfer not sure...

thank you...this format is foreign to me, but I did recall them running this type of format at this event in the past.

1st Qualifier results - Larson, Rose, Clauson,Harper, Weir, Wolfgang, Thomas. Morgan and Ballou both flipped but are OK.
