Not looking to start anything here, but I always thought it was the leader's responsibillity to get around lapped traffic. How did Cottle get his spot back?

Steve Ott was kind of stuck in the middle trying to get out of the way. Darland went to the top and Cottle went to the bottom in turn 3. Ott tried to get out of the way and Cottle made contact with Ott's left rear and both spun. Cottle spun and kept going. Ott spun and stopped. Therefore, Ott was the reason for the caution. Running order reverts to the previous lap, Cottle was in the lead.
Thanks Richie for straightening that out. A little birdie told me that you had a good time. :2:
Chuck, hope all goes well and you're back in your perch at the 'burg, etc. soon. And thanks for the seat you gave me at Brownstown for the B Main. Been meaning to tell you that.
Another good night of racing at GC. I was a little surprised at the crowd. A great night weather wise cool and less humidity. I know, threat of rain but except for some very brief sprinkles, nothing.
The track was in great shape and the track crew didn't have to touch it for the second week in a row. What a difference the lack of sunshine and wind makes to the racing surface.
Chuck, thanks for doing updates. I am sure that the folks stuck at home appreciate it. Thoughts and prayers for you and we hope to see you back at the track real soon.
Mike
Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
