Letting this linger is bad for all parties involved. USAC should have a press release ASAP. Unless they're waiting for Oswego to make the official announcement?

I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet that the realization has set in that with the biggest yearly midget event in the country (even if it isn't USAC sanctioned this year) on the schedule for two days later and 1300 miles from there, that this stand alone event (geographically) was going to get not that big of an interest, car count wise. Then immediately after that Knoxville and Oskaloosa. When I first saw the schedules, early this year, I remember thinking, "That's just crazy."
I don't know this for a fact, but I bet I'm not too far off.
