So much for non-wing supers and 6 straight days of racing for me! Looks like I may have to switch it up a little.

There is nothing on the USAC website showing its cancelled. Somebody here trying to kill this race?

It's off the Oswego schedule, and it was there yesterday. I checked one of the larger forums for Supers in Oswego and nobody seems to be certain. If I had to bet I'd say it's done. I really wish there was another race up there I could hit. Looks like I will have to wait until next year to see Oswego.

Letting this linger is bad for all parties involved. USAC should have a press release ASAP. Unless they're waiting for Oswego to make the official announcement?

Who was promoting this show, USAC or the speedway?

Yes it has been cancelled what a major bummer. We were looking forward to troy running our car again

John when this thread was started I thought the same thing but the race is indeed cancelled much to my disappointment. I am especially disappointed for the car owners and drivers loosing another race date.

how do you kill a solid series? this sounds a lot like PRA? who was in charge of that group?

I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet that the realization has set in that with the biggest yearly midget event in the country (even if it isn't USAC sanctioned this year) on the schedule for two days later and 1300 miles from there, that this stand alone event (geographically) was going to get not that big of an interest, car count wise. Then immediately after that Knoxville and Oskaloosa. When I first saw the schedules, early this year, I remember thinking, "That's just crazy."

I don't know this for a fact, but I bet I'm not too far off.
