I'm sure there are more costs than that. Besides a USAC license, you also have to worry about the idiots with the big budgets running you over because they have an endless budget and a crew of 20+ to fight for them. This isn't true with all the USAC regulars, but besides racing with all that talent, those are a few other reasons why I can figure the car count was down.
I know this is a little off topic but is USAC running out of places to race ....that track wasn't competative at all ....thank god for DC 92 ...only passing I saw ...first and last trip there for me.... Run more at Tri-State or the Burg or a corn field.....or something

Like the race you won with the MSCS at Tri State when you stopped on the track and were given the lead back? Hate to bring that up, but I don't remember you posting anything about favoritism that night. I did enjoy Brady's run at Brownstown, definitly the best of sprint week.
