That was a really good race! Thanks to Dean for the coverage. Congrats to Shane on the win. He had to seriously earn that one. Not only the winning pass of Windom, but also the way he dueled with Stanbrough to get that position. The battle of the race, IMO. This team seems to be back in sync, again. And for the second night in a row, Justin Grant drove his ass off and ended up with very little to show for it. It looks like a promising year for this young driver.

That was a slide job for the ages! It would be interesting to hear from someone sitting in the turn four stands just how close it was. I couldn't really tell from the camera angle.

One question. The announcer said the 2nd & 3rd leading all-time winners at Kokomo are Darland and Stanbrough. Who is first?

I was at the top in turn 4 and it was the closest slide job without contact i have ever seen!!!!! Texted Curt Bullick (owner of Kirkmans car) said Kirkman has a shattered cheek bone and was on the way to indy!!! All please keep Todd in your PRAYERS!!!!!

We were sitting in turn 4 also. It was as close a slider as you can get short of contact. Shane even mentioned that in his comments from victory lane. Another good night of racing at Kokomo. Feature again over before 9:30 PM.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
