mscs has also ran at charleston before.it was sponsered by a local chevy dealer and promoted very heavily locally.full grandstands, terrible race.i doubt the current promoter would go for it,even if he did they have fence issues and track prep issues.i'd probably drive right past on my way to indiana just like i do every weekend

I would Like to be Proved Wrong, but of the 15 tracks listed. I don;t see a 1 that is likely to have a Sprint Show. Macon would be the most likely spot. The Bell ShootOut is a Great Idea and Bill Nelson certainly knows how to put it togather but remember, what made it work was it was a Low Dollar Sprint Series that ran a limited number of shows. Running off nights gave them a good car pool to draw from. Hopefully Bill will put things back togather.....Wolfe-e

They didnt run off nights either. As a matter of fact didnt they run the same night as the KISS show at Gas City?

They ran every race against a Kiss or USAC show and had good car counts!

Yeah, I talked with Bill and I met the New Promoter, Phil Richardson at the UMP Banquet. I didn;t here if he planned any Sprint Shows or not. To clarify, when I said "Off Nights" I ment that they didnt compete against the Saturday Night Tracks. Running Against Kiss and USAC was pure Jennie----us! If I recall, these shows payed a Grand to Win and what 200 to Start. Also I think that each show improved a little purse wise and Payed a Point Fund, as well as some other things. I think a Bell Helmut and maybe a Firesuit. Pretty good little deal. The small purse pretty well guranteed a good car count, because the drivers knew they probably would not have to race the Big Dawgs. Of course, that wasn;t entirly true but it was the idea. Bill knew that most of the guys at Gas City and Bloomington were not likly to come anyway and it gave the guys from Putnamville and Paragon another option. I heard Nothing but Good about these Races. In fact, these Sprints would have been on the Schedule with our next WolfPack Races. For a LateModel guy like Bill to make that call has to say a lot about how good the shows were.... I didn;t mean any offence to anyone at the other tracks. Like I said, I Hope someone Proves me wrong. There is definitly Room for this series and these drivers in Ill.......Wolfe-e
