It wasn't all about the rain. The fans were not there either and I bet that had a play in it. If you lived where it was pouring, would you have drove an hour or longer to chance it. Now HH did, but others didn't even try to make it out. Also the racers play in here. I think they could have had cars out there at 6 the way the track looked, but there was only 20 or less cars there. The points leader didn't even make it to the track until around the time they postponed it.

on the radar all afternoon, there was a mass of rain moving across I-70 in Illinois toward Terre Haute...
...why would drivers and fans coming from a few hours or more make that drive, I know I didn't

I didn't count the cars during qualifications, but 23 looks about right. Not a very big crowd at all.
