Bland had to pick up a motor for his car tonight, so that is why he was a no show.

Yet another anonymous newbie who joined IOW just to join the bashing ..............

I take it that you assumed that "the cops" are present/former expert sprint car drivers who truly would have knowledge of such.

That was my point. You didnt have to be a driver to see it. Im not bashing Billy. He just made a bad choice.

billy had room and a run going so he went for it.........its not like he tried to stuff it in a hole half the width of the car.........and if he thought it was gonna bike up, do you really think he woulda tried it?
i dont.
and if he made the move work, the discussion would be about him winning after executing a textbook pass going into 3.

ps.....its not like he drove in and blasted straight into bland....he was on 2 wheels and trying to bring it back and by doing so, the car arced right. what else should he have done? just let it keep going over?

The idiot count has officially gone over the top.

Much like I'm in favor of IQ tests before reproduction, satisfactorally passing a racing IQ test should be a prerequisite for posting here.

If he would have had a wing on it, it would not have biked.

Bland is an excelent driver and I have never seem him drive dirty. Billy is just as good, it was just a racing deal, hell Billy didn't want that lousy 2nd place money.........just have to let that one go.

Great video DO..... thank you

And second is a lot better then being on you head.
Watch the video again; look at the two cars as they enter turn three. In my estimation, they enter the corner at least three feet apart. If BP's car had not have biked, in all likelihood he would have passed Jeff successfully, and without contact. The fact that the car biked changed everything for both of them....But I'm staying with my statement that BP never intended to run into Jeff....

It was a racing deal....period.....
