Lots of good ones loaded up early that day. I'd forgotten how good a field that was.

Dad and I was there. Last time I have raced at Bloomington. We ran Brownstown the night before. The concession stands kept running out of food and people were driving to Mcdonalds and coming back and selling it. I remember a ton of modifieds and by time we got paid and back to Cincy we had just enough time to shower and head to work. Thank god for the steak and shake in Columbus at 4 in the morning because we hadn't ate since breakfast the following day. My helper that went with me said he had never seen a sprinter get upside down. At the end of the night I think he had seen 14 of them go over. I think the Blacks accounted for three of those as they had a rough day.

Forgot to add we had a blast. That helper now races a pure stock and we talk about this trip often. I can't remember where I ran in the feature just that we were extremely happy making the show.
