I believe lil' rim asked a legitimate question (or questions). We're going to come over either way, but I would know what to expect. Is it correct that it is a (SE) non-points race?

The reason it is not a points race, is because if something crazy should happen at Springfield and the drivers can't make it back to Lawrenceburg in time, we would either have to delay the program and wait for the guys to arrive, or they could miss the show thus being a bigger problem for guys running for points. USAC is flying the drivers in from Springfield to make the show at Lawrenceburg. I can hear the boards light up already if something happened and we had to sit around and wait for some drivers to show up. I really don't see anything happening to delay them, but this will cover us just in case. Does that make sense?

Well Dave, Thanks for clarifying this,my intent WAS NOT to turn this into a negative post as I felt you indicated, I don't visit your facility much because of the miles that are required to get there.However I have never left your facility unhappy with a race that I have watched there and I will return again in October.

Never a problem, I wanna make sure Aero gives me one of those yeungling beers, and i will be back there most of the time once track prep is done. I might have to go up to section "A" now and then to make sure Marv and members of the section A court are enjoying (or behaving) themselves.

What time does the racing start , it is going to be a long drive from Springfield. Also , will you pay my speeding tickets on the way there, if not donations are now being accepted.
