I believe Paragon is dark on Saturday.

Waynesfield will be running along with Lawrenceburg, Lincoln Park, Danville and Kokomo. Also, don't forget the USAC sprints will
be running on Sunday in Knoxville, IA, so you can probably scratch any of those guys from running local shows on Saturday night.

First promoter to step up and pay the most money WINS!! Saturday is a tough market and promoters are going to have to get creative and with the rumors of VCS shutting down it will be interesting to see which track steps up to the plate and buy's the cars. Competition can be a good thing..Teams will always go where the money is..And all the money doesn't have to be put at the top spot..This is going to get very interesting....very interesting..

Not sure that is right TSS just payed $5000 to win and had 20 cars show up. While Eldora payed $1500 and had over 30 cars. I'm tired of hearing about drivers wanting big purses and then not show up when the purse is big. Why do the big purse if your a promoter doesn't get you anywhere.

The numbers don't seem to support that theory.

To many people get carried away with numbers. We went to Lawrenceburg last night and they had 18 sprint cars. They put on a decent show and I was well pleased with the results. With 5 tracks running special shows for sprint cars last night, you are sure to have some low car counts. Throw in weather, USAC at Belleville, some cars out due to needing major repairs, etc and this is how it turns out.

I am sure that a lot has to do with how far away the race is to a teams home base. Drivers also prefer certain tracks and that also comes into play. We are truly spoiled to have so many great options on a Saturday night. We could be forced to watch school bus figure 8 or trailor races.

Paragon had 29 sprint cars,no rain and feature won on the top by Cunnigham. Track was good looked like crowd was not to big.
