Congrats BP!

A good size crowd... both fans and cars. Cushion was just above the middle of the track... The light rain played a "heavy" role in the track conditions... it was very greasy at the beginning but eventually I thought the track condtions allowed for some very good racing.

Probably close to 120 cars in the pits...

There were some frustrating/comical moments... push trucks not able to get Shuman out of the mud along the backstretch wall, it started out frustrating... then actually became kind of comical. I even noticed Shu laughing a bit in the car...

overall.. I give a

Oh yeah... Nice job to Robbie Rice oops excuse me... STIDA.com!!! Not to bad for being out of the car for 16 months!

Arrived at LPS a little late after I turned around from heading to Haubstadt and getting a heavy rain in Vincenness. It was great to be back and the bathrooms are much better and I didn't have to it through the rain or working the track in and they were running really behind, but why didn't they fix the curb that developed in 2 and 4 (the one in 4 was especially bad) I do have to say it was so nice to be a race close to home, in my lawn chair, in the best grandstand in Indiana. Good Luck to Joe Spiker going forward and I might just be back next weekend.

The first part of that is probably why...:2: Not to mention the threat of more rain.

It was great to return to LPS, it was just like ol times with the J.D. curb service buit by Tommy Skien. That was a Putnamville track from the old Farrar days. Made for lots of hard driving action for all. Took longer due to the light rain that passed thru. Only dust was was in the infield.

Hats off to Goforbroke Joe J. working the infield tonight, a team player for Spiker Promotions.

Great opening night and I hope everybody saw what is the start of bring back the old LPS.

Kudos to Joe Spiker and all of Spiker Promotions.

It was great to return home!

Highlights will be posted here and on You Tube soon.

Congrats to Billy P & Steve & Carla on a hard fought win of the Putnamville Clash !!

It was a long show, but I have to say that the track was pretty sweet after they ran the modified heats. I know there were some spots, that developed over some time, but damn I don't think there was much to complain about. Billy P. ran a great race and he's a well deserved winner with Steve and Carla. It was also great to see some 'old' familiar faces in the pit! D.O, always awesome to see you because it means that there'll be some stunning vids. Not sure who the other videographers were in the photostand in turn one, but at least it means the track has drawn a lot more notoriety. Congrats to all winners tonight, Billy, Clint DeMoss, Junior and Dustin Shoulders as a repeat winner!!

If it was anything like days gone by; the "curbs" are LPS' signiture. Cushion,Curb,Rail..... whatever it's called, If it's tall and stout it's a Saturday Night at LPS.

This goes to prove my point I have said about some other things:The success of racing depends as much on a passionate person or group of people in charge as it does on any other factor. If the people in charge care about it; The racers and Fans will care about it.
