Thanks. Rather thin field for Jacksonville, don't you think?

As far as i am concerned this race is over. I never went and said anything to Hud. Hud came and talked to me and that is that, there are no problems between him and I. i have raced with him plenty of times and hopefully will many more. The last thing i want is anyone beating him up over it on here, or thinking that myself or my team is making a big deal about this,it was over when we pulled out that night, he won and we ran second. It was a good race and now is over, on to the next one. I would like to know why i need to watch the tape i had a pretty good seat right where i was at. Lets not be so negative on here, and focus more on positive things, for example even though we were short on cars, morgan county gave us a great race track and the fans got to see a good race. thanks for your time Chris Urish

Sorry guys. I wasn't meaning to start anything. I'm just a fan. I don't know Urish or Hud. As a fan, I like both. I didn't mean that the move was dirty, it just looked to me like it was a slide job that didn't work out and turned out to be a pinch. I know that Hud is a clean driver and it just didn't look to me like he was in position at the time to pull off a true slide job... and from my vantage point he didn't quite get it done without Urish having to seriously lift (losing 2 positions and half a straight). Those things happen. I was just pointing out what I saw as a fan, pure and simple. Lets move on. I wasn't trying to stir anything up, and Chris' post tells me that my uneducated opinion on the matter was wrong. I'll take Chris' view of it and realize that I just saw some good, hard, but fair non-wing action.
I re-read my post and I guess it was worded a little stronger than I meant it. At the time I was rooting for Hud because he was behind, as I usually root for the pass. It was a VERY entertaining race and both drivers invovled are complete pro's. I wasn't trying to generate any bad blood. Maybe it's because my little boy had the 7x and I had the 77u and that move cost me a coke. I tend to lose my cool with so much on the line. lol, but cherish the chance to make that bet every Friday night just like I did with my dad.
Can't wait to see both of them back at Jacksonville... hopefully brining a few more cars with you next time. And Chris, I have to say that you were HOOKED UP that whole feature. Maybe that was part of it on my end. You were the car to beat Friday and I hated to see you leave without the win.

Aren't slide jobs part of racing. It seems like the only people upset are a couple of fans. Urish isn't mad. Hud's a class guy anyways, always doing the right thing and from the sounds of his post Chris Urish is a class act too. Isn't the drivers job to win the race. This sounds like a damn good race to me with a last lap pass. My thanks to both these drivers for putting on a good show.
