Maybe someone can help me out here. I had read (at least I think that I did) that young Bloom was the grandson of one of the Epperson boys who used to run super modifieds at the old San Jose Speedway. As of ISW though Hunter has been in the Epperson #2 sprint car and Bloom was in another car - and then of course won last night. Hunter ran the last night of ISW, in the Epperson ride, finishing mid pack. Can anyone clear up my jumbled picture? Thanks.

Different Epperson's. Hunter is in the Tony Epperson owned car out of Indiana. Same guy that was with Eric Gordon for several years. Bloom is a relative of the Epperson clan from Cali.
