Accord doesn't have the seating capacity. Gary has a good thing there with his weekly program and I don't think the town would allow him to run another night. Plus there's now a pending lawsuit against him for some BS about pollution in the water runoff that gets into the stream.

i thought he was adding more seats?
why does the town have to bust his balls? that track was there for a long time and it was nothing special. he comes along and makes something out of it and they gotta bother him.
and..doesnt he have a couple special use dates that he can run more than one or two nights.......or does he use them up on practice nights?

He has to submit the schedule to the town during the winter. After that it can't be amended. They allow him to run Fridays May-Sept regularly and then Wednesday June-September I believe. It's not the town this time. It's a group called Riverkeeper. Here's the link if you're interested.

dirt washing into the creek. i only thought we had those kind of issues in nj.

The key to something like this usually comes downs to the fans in the stands. The Central Pa. fans love sprint cars and believe they have some of the best weekly sprint car racing in the country. They are very knowledgeable; give them a good product (winged or without) and they will be there in droves.

Fans love to see their local drivers compete with and sometimes beat the best in the business of winged sprint car racing. Getting the same thing going -- locals vs. USAC -- would make this thing blossom. There has to be an incentive to get the local guys involved. Want to pack the stands? Get the local fans talking about how so-and-so can not only beat the WoO guys, but can beat the non-wingers too.

its about time we get the wingless cars up to Lebanon Valley NY, after 100 lap tour big block modified race on Sat. the track was still tacky and as smooth as glass..not too far of a drive from central PA either. Also just to give an idea of crowds here on Saturday the 50/50 paid over $3400 to the fan.

I'll through my 2cents in.

I agree with everyone track prep is key. Having the cars wheel pack is a important to a good track.

I don't think fans will support a show with just one class (WoO excluded) for $25. You need a half desent support show.

Tuesday Lernerville w/ Modifieds

Wednesday & Thursday Grandview. They've show great support and Bob Miller knows how to put on a great show. ARDC and Modifieds each support one night.

Friday Williams Grove with top 20 In Super Sportsman running wingless. The Sportsman have two wingless show schedules there this year, so they are learning how to race wingless.

Saturday Lincoln with ARDC. This could be one of the best show as the track prep if usually very good and the size is perfect for great racing.

Sunday I'd leave open as a rain date for any of the other tracks, plus if weather is good make returning hime easier.
