So true but least I accept it and move on. I just dont like to here someone on the radio crying casue he got beat in the pits especially. Steele out drove him and even he admited it.

I beg to differ with you Mr. Watson. The only difference this evening was a new right rear on Steele's last pit stop. Two quality drivers who MADE an otherwise ho hum race worth watching. Early attrition was very dramatic as they were dropping like flys in the first 150 laps.

A call goes out to two young drivers who performed very well and came home with top 5 finishes. Donnie Adams Jr. and Jacob Wilson were up on the wheel this evening. Both should be congratulated for a fine effort. I believe the final count was 11 cars running at the end of the 500 laps.

A very nice crowd for this years version of the Little 5. They said that both Elliott and Hollingsworth blew an engine. Steele and Gordon were the only two cars on the lead lap at the end.

Yes indeed. Cottle and Jimmy McCune were both eliminated on the initial start of the race. Cottle went over to someone else's pit area and they had to lead him away after a heated discussion. I don't think it was McCune's pit but I can't be sure of that. I thought Jimmy was just an innocent victim along with Cottle.

Man 8 little 500 victories just makes me want to ball my eyes out. Steele caused a caution spinning adams so he could get tires. If it wasnt for that he would have never won.

Wow your an idiot.. First a shout out to Donny adams jr.. Hell of show.. 2nd, something could be said about him holding both steele and gordon up.. But since you wanna say thats how steele only could have won?? How bout the cry baby antics of Gordon, Trying to block steele from leaving the pits to get in front of the pace car, good thing the officials noticed that and gave him the lap back because of that crap.. secondly steele was faster all night Period!! he wasnt even pushing the issue and gordon still couldnt get around him.. And gordon saying he lost it in the pits?? EVERY TIME HE WAS IN THE PITS HE HAD A PUSH TRUCK ON HIS TAIL WAITING FOR HIM.. Steeles crew had to do back flips down the pits just to get one.. and at that the last stop the push truck for some reason stopped pushing him about 30 feet after the corner.. hmmm.. either way, GORDON GOT PLAIN BEAT!!! Steele could talk about all the bad beats hes had their, but he doesnt.. HE MOVES ON AND CONTINUES TO WIN!! WAY TO GO DAVE!!

ELI2448 would you like to compare victories of steele to gordon??

Lastly, It was a little lack luster of the amount of cars running at the end.. But all in all to watch the last half of the race play out was classic.. Alot of motor problems tonight.. maybe 7 out because of issues with the motor.

To be clear and fair, on that last stop Steele got a right rear and some fuel, and then had the front brakes locked up all the way down the pit road until the push truck stopped because his car wasn't in gear from after the stop- thats how fast the push truck was on him after the jack dropped.

Congratulations to Steele he a great race.

What was his story about spinning Adams ? passing the pace car so he could dive into the pits while they were still closed ? passing the pace car after he pitted and lost a lap ?

well im not sure what your talking about.. I posted earlier about the Donny adams thing.. and 2nd, If you watched the race then you would see EVERY CAR pass the pace car when they get close to their entrance.. and also when the guy on the inside of the front stretch waves the flag that means the pits are open.. and lastly, obviously you werent watching the race that closely.. Go to the Anderson Herald bulletin web site and read the story.. GORDON BLOCKED HIM LOW.. thats why the OFFICIALS GAVE HIM THE LAP BACK!! lol either way Steele won.. he deserved to win, and he did..
