I beg to differ with you Mr. Watson. The only difference this evening was a new right rear on Steele's last pit stop. Two quality drivers who MADE an otherwise ho hum race worth watching. Early attrition was very dramatic as they were dropping like flys in the first 150 laps.
A call goes out to two young drivers who performed very well and came home with top 5 finishes. Donnie Adams Jr. and Jacob Wilson were up on the wheel this evening.

Both should be congratulated for a fine effort.

I believe the final count was 11 cars running at the end of the 500 laps.
A very nice crowd for this years version of the Little 5. They said that both Elliott and Hollingsworth blew an engine. Steele and Gordon were the only two cars on the lead lap at the end.

Yes indeed. Cottle and Jimmy McCune were both eliminated on the initial start of the race. Cottle went over to someone else's pit area and they had to lead him away after a heated discussion.

I don't think it was McCune's pit but I can't be sure of that. I thought Jimmy was just an innocent victim along with Cottle.

What was his story about spinning Adams ? passing the pace car so he could dive into the pits while they were still closed ? passing the pace car after he pitted and lost a lap ?
