Why does everybody make this so difficult?
That makes two of us that feel the same way.

Sprint Bandit racing system is the best way to race and put on a show for the fans. Now has for the ones who only want to qualify why is that do you only like to race by yourself because you can go drag racing then just race the clock by yourself and not have to worry about touching anything.Short track dirt racing for non wing sprints is where the action is they will put on show using this format or the draw system.I just do not understand why everyone thinks qualifying is so important, you still have to race with twenty or twenty four cars in the feature anyway or do you hope there is enough yellows you will not get into lap traffic.

Mark another one up for qualifying. It makes for better racing.
Similar speeds in the same heats and invert the fastest to the tail.

Why qualify... you either get it or you don't.

When a company needs to hire someone... they see if the applicant is "QUALIFIED" for the job by looking at their application /resume.... they do not draw a name out of a hat to see who gets the position.

There is a reason why qualifying is a part of all major motorsports divisions.

USAC's format of qualifying and inverting in heats is the most exciting and fairest for everyone!
are you crazy???? Usac has the dumbest system I have ever seen. Most exciting, I love watching the fast guy hit 4th place and ride around the rest of the heat race. Then the stupidest thing USAC does is gives a guy there spot back that transfers from the B main.

The best format I have seen....Sportsdrome Speedway. Qualify for points. Quals set up heat races that are for points. Feature is set up by points. This normally shakes up the top 5 and throws new winners in from time to time. Makes for alot better show for the fans. It also keeps the field more competitive

If you qualify, you need an invert. if you have a huge field, don't insult everyone by letting cars from your b-main take the top starting spots. Put them to the tail where they belong. That will make your heat races much more exciting.
