I live 40 min south of Florence, it is 11:00 and the sun is out! It's already been stated that there was early morning showers in the area but the sun here has completely dried out the roads.

Just like when Haubstadt would run full blown sprints and Lm's on the same night.

I'm about a dozen miles (in a straight line) from Florence, and it's been really dreary all day. Thankfully, it hasn't really rained since early this morning. I keep watching the radar, and while percipitation has looked ominous throughtout the day, everything seems to disappear just before it reaches Greater Cincinnati.

Luckily, for those of us who want to see this show go off, the track surface at Florence is one that can suck up some water.

The car quality tonight should be top-notch, sprints and LMs. Looks like anyone who wants to race in the area tonight is holding out hope that Mother Nature will show mercy in northern Kentucky tonight.

BTW, I haven't seen it elsewhere on here, but I believe Dickie Gaines will be in the Cincinnati-based Moletrapper.com Stevens #2 sprinter tonight.
