Duane , you left out one important part. If it had been Kevin Swindell, instead of Hunter, Sammy would have beat on Robert once they goy him out of the car.

Around 1993 or 1994 Dave Darland and Tray House were racing side by side at Kokomo and tangled. In the pits one of Dave's pit guys was steaming mad - threatening all sorts of mayhem. So here come Dave and Tray walking side by side into the pits laughing. Dave said "Oh well, I ran the same line for around 10 laps and I decided to try a different line just as Tray decided to try to pass me there." And Tray said something like - "that happens".
It is generally best to let the drivers figure out what happened.

I agree with you, Jerry Shaw. Swindell would've gotten absolutely hammered on here. Drivers do race hard but have to understand the situation. The big money is not to be made in a heat race so take care of the car for the feature and drive smart. Tom

The way I saw it, just a bad decision by Hunter. The fact that it almost went way worse than it turned out to be made the decision that much worse. The more of these types of "moves" are added to a drivers resume the harder it will be for that driver to find an owner to put him in the car. This is just my opinion. That being said I am not a car owner or driver, But I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Glad Ballou is gonna be O.K.
