I think it could be a great show.

I remember thinking that the 2003 sprint show inside the RCA Dome wouldn't work, but I was somewhat pleasantly surprised by it. There was a little bit of action, some passing, some cars torn up. It was still better than watching a winged dirt race anywhere except a bullring. I think the Speedrome might be a tad bigger than the setup inside the Dome was?

I think that is correct. IIRC, the 'Drome is 1/5 and the 'Dome was a 1/6. I believe Macon is 1/5. Do they ever run sprints there?

Duke...Bloom is talking about the HOSS Series at Salem and Winchester in regard to the 160 and 170 mph. Anyone who knows Jeff Bloom..knows he will tell you what he thinks.

The Speedrome track is larger than the RCA Dome track was.

I saw the AVSS race at the Speedrome firsthand..and I saw a clean race with passing that was interesting.

Jack Calabrase was our race director at the RCA Dome...and he was the AVSS director at the Speedrome in 2000. My decision to run HOSS at the Speedrome is based on that influence. Both events worked.

The Outlaws never got paid for that show. When was that, '92 or so?

I covered the AVSS race at the Speedrome back in my Hoseheads days...it was a decent race if I recall correctly. Then again, it's rare that I have a bad memory of a race unless someone got hurt or something...
