I agree with the racing at Paducah..... I thoroughly enjoyed the one race I went to. I just see that as a reason for not returning. Again just my 2 cents.

Can't bad accidents happen at any track?
I wish they were coming back to Paducah.

I'll see the outlaws there in a few weeks

Hey, make the tow down to any of the three Houston area tracks. . . . .

I can dream, can't I.

Be sure to visit www.manvelmotorsports.com. 2024 Robert Ballou Calendars are available.

I did make it to the last race at Clay County and seen Levi Jones win in his own ride. The track held up pretty good that night and thought there was some good racing. Any word on why they pulled out of these races?

Maybe we can get MSCS to add these dates to the schedule at Haubstadt!:thumb

Jason,

The other incidents happened on 08/03/2007...The B-Main was red flagged at the very outset due to a serious accident in turns one and two. Two drivers were injured. As Chad Boespflug's car was flipping in turn one, the car of Daron Clayton continued crashing along and into the outside retaining wall before soaring over the concrete and out of view. Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Clayton was released later that evening with a concussion and Chad was air lifted to University of Louisville hospital for observation because of Shoulder injuries and skull fractures. Chad was released from hospital on Sat night and is at home recupperating. Report his shoulder has deep bruise and he has a fractured skull behind each ear

paducah is nasty fast... scary fast... i've ran there once in a mod, and it was just amazingly fast fun but can get you hurt in a hurry

I'll miss racing at Clay County. The track was decent, it was closer to home
than Indiana and alcohol was only $3.25 a gallon! :crying:

You can't blame the track, because if that was the case you wouldn't see racing at Winchester , Salem , or IMS.

Thanks,
I remember reading about that accident now. Looking at the pics from North Vernon it seems that Chad has found his way back into the car. I am assuming he plans on running all year?
