He may very well have finished 3rd. I went by what I heard on the RacinBoys webcast which was 5th. They have posted on the RacinBoys forum that he finished 5th.

I thought I heard Wease finished 4th in Qualifier 1 but the forum has him 10th?

FEATURE
11 Jerry Coons, Jr. - 20 Levi Jones
36 Jonathan Beason - 2S Damion Gardner
05 Brad Loyet - 8X Bud Kaeding
21P Daryn Pittman - 14W Matt Westfall
47 Cory Kruseman - 67K Kasey Kahne
1DM Dustin Morgan - 007 Cole Carter
12 Trey Robb - 38 Jason Leffler
15 Tim Siner - 2B Wayne Johnson
87X Rich Camfield - 71 Cole Whitt
97J Kyle Larson - 12W Billy Wease
73X Mat Neely - 7D Dakoda Armstrong
14JR Matt Streeter - 8J Greg Wilson

This is the lineup as posted on the RacinBoys forum. They must have given a wrong heat finish for Bud Kaeding on the radio. Bud is the only one who is not where I figured he would be.

Finish:
1-Coons, Jr, 2-Jones, 3-Loyet, 4-Pittman, 5-Whitt, 6-Robb, 7-Siner, 8-Westfall, 9-Morgan, 10-Neely, 11-Armstrong...

It's worth noting that Kasey Kahne spun in the 4th turn of the final lap trying to go from 5th to 4th. So, instead of being in the B Main tomorrow, he'll be in the G or H. That's what real racers do.

Real racers make a pointless move that would gain them one spot in the B-Main but spin and lose massive amounts of positions and as a result now he has to run the G?

I didn't know that. You learn something new everyday.

apparently you have never driven a racecar? if you had you wouldn't make a stupid comment like that..if you are a real racer you never lift or settle for where you are at.. you keep digging and try to get very spot you can and not just say i will make the b main and just settle for that you keep going and try to get ever spot you can

Does the phrase "big picture" mean anything to you?

Maybe but all my friends know the difference between finishing 4th in a prelim and having a better chance at winning the biggest Midget race in the country.
