Sold the RV in May after putting on 80K miles just going to open wheel races. I took in both segments of ISW 16 times since 1999, missing a few years here and there, including the last 2. Don't really enjoy the traveling part of it anymore, as ISW was always just under a 4K round trip from Mesa, AZ. Lots of mostly good memories of those times, but happily settle for Floracing now. Plus there's no one in a stadium chair sitting in front of me in my living room, and the temps are always wherever I set my thermostat.
For those attending IMS and have been there for BC39, I have a couple
of questions. Looks like the first 10 rows are general admission, how well can you see from that low? Do those seats fill up quickly? Was planning on going but didn’t realize the cost was so high, still trying to decide.

55,
The first 10 rows are GA, but only in certain sections. Here is what I copied off the IMS website:
General Admission is first come, first served in Sections 10-12, Rows B-K.
For your answer, I sat in row K for the BC 39. Had no problem seeing. In hotlaps, got some marbles throw up at us. But after the track was run in, no problem. For the sprint car show, I have purchased a GA ticket and don't foresee any problems for this race. I'll be in that same area you are looking at.
Hope that helps you decide. I'm not missing the first ever sprint car race at IMS.

Have fun, everyone!
Due to the extreme heat and the fact that I'm still not recovered from my broken ankle, I will take in most, if not all, of ISW on Flo. I'm not up to spending and entire day out in the heat.

Thanks. I have decided not to go. Will go to Lincoln Park on Friday. The more I looked into it, pricing and parking just seemed ridiculously high for a sprint car event.
Poor Rick has been having a tough time getting on IOW to post, but he did have enough of a signal from his tomato can call service in Osgood to message me The Racing Families sprint week plans to start. He also told me the Mail Man told him the only thing slower than IOW lately,is when Rick drives anywhere

I almost passed out from sweating last night from hollering "GO BLU" Most people say to drink plenty of water, and I thought I was doing that,as most people tell me that Coors Light is mostly water anyway Looking forward to seeing some great friends and making some Kodak moments and life time memories together again. I'll have plenty of Coors Light with me tonight if anyone wants to stop by for one to help stay hydrated! God bless America. Thanks.

Props need to be given to the crew at LPS. After the disaster at Sprintacular they returned with an A+ event. One division great track prep smoothly run show. Two at a time TT should be bare minimum at all tracks this week. If this type of program were the norm I’d think attendance would increase on a regular basis. Well done Mr and Mrs Estes nice recovery. Fingers crossed tonite goes off in the same manner. Clearly track prep won’t be an issue, hope Momma Nature plays nice.
