I just wish "Mikey" Waltrip would go away.

How the he.. did Mikey Waltrip get into this thread about Sammy Swindell?

I always liked Sammy. He was always kinda quiet and, I think, a little bewildered at some of the attention he got. He was always very focused. He's still a helluva a racer. I think he won the last race he was in at Eldora.

Thought he got a bad break at the Chili Bowl last year when he worked most of race to complete of pass of Bobby East only to have the blue No. 4 drive over him exiting the corner. Amazingly, little was said about this when people would have screamed bloody murder had it been the other way around. This isn't a rip on Bobby. I like him. Rather, its a rip on the Swindell Bashers on IOW.

I think it's great everybody yells and complains about Sammy. That somebody always has something bad to say about the negatives of Sammy Swindell, his
racing career or attitude or the way he conducts himself at the track or with
his son.

Well, let me tell you about a guy in Black. A guy that drove the fame #3.
A Nascar Icon. Well, you know what there are a lot of people that didn't
