The muncie motor speedway was a 1/4 mile paved oval which operated from 1964 to 1990 when it was closed by the epa because it was a toxic dump site per the same book.
was there a address for the velodrome?

Between the site on Burlington being a race track and a park, it was a dump. Dig down a couple feet in the trailor park and you will hit trash. Before it was the Muncie Velodrome it was a steeplechase.

Duke, the reason I asked was, a friend of mine from Bloomington, is an Eberle, he married Kay and Carl Sandy's daughter, Tom "BIG" used to drive for them. They got back in a couple years ago, their son decided he wanted to try his hand at driving a midget, don't know if he's still at it, or not. Bob
