CMAKIN, I didn't know there was something going on in S. Indiana. I'll have to check it out and may drive south to catch a race at Haubstadt, if the weather is good. Thanks for the heads up.

fisher79,
Kokomo was the one track that I have attended out of the 4 listed. I was at Kokomo for a show a few years ago that was added at the end of sprintweek (not a sprint week show)and it must have been 105 degrees out. I have a sequince of photos of Chris Windom riding out a wild one, hanging on my wall shot by a buddy, the master Al Consoli. I did enjoy it and I will return there again someday (maybe this year?)
I passed up going to Tri-state last year after going to that awesome sprintweek race at Bloomington. I heard only good things about Haubstadt and it might fit. It would be a long ride back to Indy that night.
Thanks

It's a tough call on Tri-State vs. Kokomo... both are pretty awesome. Last year I did Terre Haute, Bloomington (after rain, flew to Gas City), Little 500, and Haubstadt. Hunter % put on a helluva show at Haubstadt - from the C-Main to 3rd or 4th in the A... pretty awesome! This year I'm going to try to plan on Terre Haute, Bloomington (stay away rain!), Lawrenceburg (first time to the new configuration), and Haubstadt.

I'm a dirt racer from the midwest but happened to be in Indy for ICMS meeting years ago.
We went to IRP and watched the formula V and midgets. That was unquestionably the best
pavement racing I had ever seen and stands out as some of the best ever. I know the formulaV is gone but does the track still support that good of racing?

Jersey,
You have already made excellent choices.
I hope the weather smiles for you and everyone else trying to get in some of that good ol' Hoosier non-wing racing.
