Great race, great field. Sad this is the only thing keeping the place alive. The track owner has all but killed weekly racing. I grew up at this place, and this race will probably be my only visit of the year.

A great event, $25k to win, $136k total purse. Let's be honest, one of the few Indiana short track events that has kept up w/ the times in terms of purses. I'm looking forward to it.

Smoke I think ran 2017 for Hoffman. Qualified about 18th Hung out about eight for half the race then came on gangbusters to grab third
I swear nearly every car in the field bumped him during the first half of the race. I don't know if it was some gas saving strategy, but at the end of the race he was fast.
