Think lightning was trying to strike me dead on way home. Near Tri county I see a bolt hit up ahead, half mile later I hit only pothole in road. Think the bolt did it. Five miles further at two seventy five and I seventy one a bolt hit,, radio went dead for about twenty seconds. Another five miles . another bolt. Got home and let dog out and I stayed under porch roof.
Now for some USAC on Flo just as the National Anthem plays
16 sprints including Cling, Adams, Boespflug, Hayslett, Bibent, Bilbee, Fischesser, Abrahms, Moffatt and others.
Track was tacky and fast. before it got deluged. Bobby Gompf's spot was about a foot deep of mud Think a 14.1 second lap was done in second qualifying round of 96mph
