Max Adams fell back to about seventh on the start with Bilbee taking the early lead. Cling second and by the end of the first lap Hughes had come from sixth to third. Up on the wall, don't lift racing and Hughes was lightning fast. Going into three Cling got a bit sideways and Hughes had to get more sideways to miss him turning around and doing a back flip Ended Hughes and Clings night.
Restart about lap eight, Bilbee checks out. Adams who was up to fifth due to two exiting cars . Haselett, Abrams and others battling in the top five.
Well Bilbee kinda ran the top of the slick. Adams put it on the wall eating on any cushion left. With six to go Adams grabs lead and leads by a straight at checker.
Let it be known that from this day forward that Max Adams is King of the Midwest.

Bibent who was in the three with Haselet and Abrams swapping third fourth and fifth the second half of the race.
Weir who got spun around to miss the Hughes, Cling flip and restarted on tail.

Dad, Uncle and Dan Shaw as seating company. Got to spend a good ten minutes with the Mudpacker and Kelly and that was great to do as well. Great night, thanks to teams track and crews. See ya next week.
Although the track was super dusty, I like the burg when it’s up on the wall like that. Max made up all his ground ripping the lip in turns 3 and 4. Pretty good feature. I’m not so sure Max would have won if JJ Hughes didn’t get upside down. He was flying. Btw...in victory lane interview, Max said that was his first a main win in the family owned #5. Congrats!
Now Im arguing with myself because last race was tacky as hell and only got halfway up; the track with mid 14 second laps into late in the feature and several last few laps lead swaps.
