Wild Card Award for outstanding/exciting performances: Hunter at the Memorial Day weekend race at Haubstadt. Came from the C to third in the A. Gotta mention DC's run at the Hulman Classic. His hellacious run in the B to nip Weir at the line for the last transfer then what looked like a possible win from 17th only to nearly spinout twice and finish 4th.

Hey guys, Chad Boat isn't a rookie!! He's been running sprint cars for a few years now. He was a rookie with USAC, but this is for sprint cars in general.
If you would like to add in a different rookie pick, feel free...

I think I would have picked Nic Faas for sprint car rookie of the year.

Wild Card Award for outstanding/exciting performances: Dave Darland at the 4 or was it 3-Crown was almost Hewitt like (Hey, I said almost.). In a photo finish with Hunter.

Media Member of the Year: Danny Burton in a landslide.

Team of the Year: HAR

Promoter of the Year: Dave Rudisell. I have no choice if I want to keep my Section "A" perch. "Bozo" or not, he's still the BOSS. :O:

Rookie of the Year: Logan Hupp

Rank the top fifteen (your choice! haha) sprint car drivers of the year.

Jerry Coons, Jr.

Jeff Bland, Jr.

Brady Bacon
Shane Cottle

The only one I can really say is for promoter and that would be DHK because they saved the Action Track. DHK is actually changing names since Chris Novetney came on board.

Builder MFG: JD Performance Engines(Best kept secret in the Nation)
Media: Eckert/KO (they should start their own mag, puts everyone else to shame)
Team: Cole Whitt and Lil' Rim(alone they beat the best) gets GLM points too(good looking Mom)
Promoter: O'Conners (Kokomo has no BS, same rules for everyone, good, fast, safe racing everyweek. Just wish they would let us run MC-2's/SD-44's as well as Hoosier DT-3's!)
Rookie: Too many to keep track of. I thought the economy was bad? CHAD BOAT gets my vote, Cool kid, cool Dad, doing it alone. They get hauler points and GLM points, (GLM= good looking Mom!) Might ned to learn more throttle control but he's a smart kid, he'll get it.
Top 15: DD, JRS, Coondog, Whitt, Hunter, Cottle, Billy P, Sweet, Short, Bland, Bacon, Windom, Tony Jones, Hagen, Swindell, Hockett

I'll add one category. Most exciting single race performance. I saw a lot of them, but my vote goes to Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. in the 4 Crown Midget feature. That was just crazy, there.:applaud:

I'll agree with that but there were a few races by Hunter at Kokomo that came awful close to Ricky at eldora
