There regular shows are average, but they put on all the big money shows around here. USAC doesn't pay anything like they do. I know USAC doesn't have any $1o,000 to win shows around here, and they seem to be the measuring stick around here.

USAC tends to pay more through the field. I think it's $275 to start. That may have changed by now. However, unless this has also changed, you could pay your $30 pit pass, your temporary USAC permit fee etc. and come away without a single dime if you didn't make the heats out of the NQ races. It's been a couple of years since we ran USAC so, my information might be dated.

Daggone I thought it was just me .... 275 for 8th and run 40 laps.

IMO, Perris was around 1,200-1500 on Thursday and Friday nights, about 5,000 Saturday night.

Manzanita probably 5,000 on Friday night and 6,000 on Saturday night.

One thing to keep in mind is the ASCS sprint cars were the support show at the Western. Would I like to see the racers get more money, of course I would. But I don't know of too many support shows that pay 3k to win. Personally I think it's great that the track ran both divisions of sprints and had the increased payouts for both USAC and ASCS instead of running some other class like modifieds or a stand-alone show of just the 410's.

I liked the way they did the dirt nationals at terre haute nothing but sprint cars non-winged and wing makes both classes happy.Has for the payout why are you people on the mscs so hard they have paid out more to win in Indiana than usac has by far and they have been in business for only how many years compared to usac which actually has no big yearly race they have started on there own.
