Awesome Fish!

I used to work with Dale Detmer. Know Larry fairly well but I did not see Dale at the track last year. Looking for news on that.

Dale showed me some pictures once of his brother riding the rim in that flathead ford and him in a john boat with a 5hp wizard motor both circling the track. Dale in the low groove as it were

Thanks
Chuck

I'm pretty sure that Audie is Charlie's father. Don't know about the temper part.

Gregg, my father Wayne Pratt is the nephew of Bob. Of the top of my head I couldn't say for sure if that is the same Wayne Pratt, as I was only two years old at the time and he was primarily a late model, mod and hobby stock driver.

Didn't Orville Yeadon win the Eldora 500? Wow - 500 laps on dirt. Talk about wearing a driver and car out!

Yep Gregg, Yeadon won the first Eldora 500 in '65. Larry Cannon in the B4 won the second in '66, and Don Nordhorn won the third and final in '67. I missed Yeadon's but made the final two.
