Dave, any idea what support class will be running either night?

Looking forward to the trip to the Burg in June. And hopefully lower gas prices. If not. Anyone have a preferred route for a moped, and how long it would take to get there from Kokomo.

Kim and I already have an air show in Reading, PA on our schedule for June 4 thru 6 -- the only way we will pay to see wings :O:
I was attending a lot of sprint car and "super modified" races when the wing stuff started spreading to the Midwest. Yes, I know I'm too old and set in my ways, but I was going to races when some of the IOW wing lovers were so young they were likely pooping yellow in their diapers (and some of them probably still do). I didn't like them then, not even the plywood ones, and I still don't like them.
However, this is still the USA, and we still are free to have our own opinions and our own choices as to which forms of entertainment we attend. Frankly, I hope this show is a success, for the sake of Dave and the speedway.

One thing I thought was cool in the past was when they had a nonwinged invitation race at the Woo race. Invited the top 20 in track points to participate. It rewards the guys who regularly support the track with the chance to run in front of a big crowd, plus usually put on a better show than the Woo!

Maybe they should have some sort of a contest at the 'burg...

First place gets two tickets to the WoO race.:O:

Second place gets four tickets to the WoO race.:O::O:

Third place gets eight tickets to the WoO race.:O::O::O:

Don't get bent out of shape. Just havin' a little fun.

I'm not a wing fan as far as spectating but, I do have to say that the first time I saw those guys flat footing sprint cars around the old Lawrenceburg, I was awe struck. After a few times, though, I had seen enough. We'll be there one way or another, either watching or racing.
