Probably the best modified feature I've seen at Kokomo. It was as good as the sprint car race if not better.

Got to agree with Adolph on this one. The sprint car feature was very good but the UMP modified feature was even better. The battle for the top three spots was intense and the final battle for the lead was awesome. Even the hornet race came down to a photo finish!!! Great night of racing on an awesome racing surface and we knew the O'Connors would work harder to have a "typical" Kokomo surface for the good sized crowd on this evening.

Huge thank you to the six (6) drivers that came and spent time with the fans, thank you Issac Chapple for playing along and wearing a super hero tee shirt ( Darland/ IronMan) (Chapple Superman) ( Cottle Superman) that in it's self earned you the extra Spencer Hard Charger award. Shane Cottle received the Spencer Hard Charger on the track award based on the night and the fact that he was one of the six (6) that showed up for the fans. I think is was a three way tie and we used the fact Shane took time out to spend with the fans at the autograph session as the tie breaker.

Thanks to all the drivers/crews, fans and crew of the Kokomo Speedway for a outstanding night of racing and fireworks.

Don't forget next Sunday is the drivers of the past Reunion, Josh and Shannon have done a great job getting a great group of drivers, car owners, past track owners and crew chiefs to be on hand. Come out and visit with the people that helped make the Kokomo Speedway what it is today.
