Thanks for the info on the Sunday race at Lincoln. Looks like I will drive to Champaign on Thursday and get a motel room, I'm hoping to have enough energy to make the hour drive north to Fairbury for the race that night. Friday I will go to Jacksonville then on to Knoxville. Sunday will be Lincoln.
Thanks to all of your tips Monday will be the only day I don't see a race, that will be the day to visit IMS. Weather permitting I may get to see 10 races in 11 days. Any more tips, info or good ideas will be appreciated. Thanks again!

Anyone have any ideas on places to fish while I'm in Indiana traveling to Midget Week shows? I see Lawrenceburg is near a river.

What kind of fish are you fishing for?

I'll fish for anything, panfish, bass, catfish, whatever a body of water might hold. I'll probably have some down time between races and fishing is a hobby of mine even if I'm just sitting along a bank washing my lures

When you are in Bloomington there is Lake Monroe which is a short drive down Fairfax Rd from Bloomington Speedway. Decent fishing.

Thanks for the tip on Lake Monroe! I have a goal to catch a fish in every state, not sure I'll make it to all of the states, but this trip will be an opportunity catch fish in some of the states I have never visited.

If you're going to Lincoln Park check out this area just south of cloverdale.

Hey David, Thanks for the fishing tip! I am familiar with your posts and pics from the Williams Grove forums, its a bit of a shame that the WG forum is almost dead, but some of the posters on that site kinda ruined it for the rest of us. After I get back from this midget tour I'm not sure how much I will enjoy the winged racing here in PA, even Lincoln Speedway here in PA is becoming a freight train track and its one of our smaller tracks. I do not like locked down racing. Hope to meet you sometimes during my racing travels! Your pics are pretty cool.

There is also good bank fishing at the Cunot boat ramps. Its off of IN42. You will probably have your license checked there. That is the only place where I've been asked for my fishing license
