I was worried for a second, I thought SC stood for sprint car.
1/2 million dollars to oversee Silver Crown, wow that's a good job. |

It's a half a million to over see usac not just one division. And we don't know for sure he's really making that amount of money.

As someone said, the sky is not falling. Am i disappointed Andy is no longer in the position, absolutely...but i also have heard good things. The series will be in good hands and i believe it could get even better. Relax y'all. Unless you know what really happened it's silly to even start bashing one side or the other.

As I have stated in the past, I'm no fan of Kevin Miller but: He makes a base salary plus a percentage of sponsorship from multiple series's.
These include in no particular order. Silver Crown National, CRA, Western and other Misc Sprint National Midget plus various D2 and Regional series F1 through ACCUS Moto GP .25 quarter Midgets TORC Off Road Robby Gordon Stadium Trucks Rally Cross Snow Cross ETC. There's a lot USAC does that's not with the Divisions this board is familiar with and they are all worth a lot of money to USAC. Mike Devin

Minus the tragedy in August, I would say USAC had one the best years they ever had this year. Hate to see Andy leave, but I think the staff is still strong, and whoever replaces him is getting a series on the upswing.

How long has Kevin Miller been overseeing all the USAC divisions? Just thinking back a few years ago to 2013 when DuQuoin saw I believe 13 or 14 cars take the green flag. At that time, I was seriously concerned that it might be over. Andy did an incredible job reviving these classic cars and races

Andy did a great job with the SC series, the racing was pretty good this year in the races I was able to attend and the numbers have started to come back up under Andy on both dirt and pavement. A few examples:
2016 Hoosier Hundred: 33 Du Quoin: 35 Eldora: 24 2015 Hoosier Hundred: 29 Du Quoin: 31 Eldora: 20 2014 Hoosier Hundred: 26 Du Quion: 24 Eldora: 20 2013 Hoosier Hundred: 24 Du Quoin: 16 Eldora: 20 |
