The company has continued to grow since when they sponsored the series in the mid and late 2000s. Now with their involvement in tv with MAVTV and Lucas Oil Racing TV online, a luxury that wasn't there before, The Chili Bowl/Shootout, ASCS, Lucas Oil Late Models all get a ton of exposure compared to years past.
Lucas Oil has done a lot as far as trying to satisfy fans but also to attract new ones through media. Back when they sponsored before they just didn't have the capabilities they do now. And I think as Lucas Oil grows, so will their impact on dirt racing

Basically.....USAC is seemingly one of the few sponsorships that they have broken ties with. The Lucas family is heavily involved in the city of Indianapolis and auto racing but are not involved with the racing organization that has been here since 1955. One they once sponsored and the one that immediately found a competitor of theirs to replace them after they parted ways. Never say never but that bridge may have been significantly damaged in that fire. |

You can thank Kevin Miller alone for no Lucas Oil support of USAC.

That being said, I know where you're coming from, totally understand, and do I think Lucas Oil will ever return as a sponsor, most likely not. But if someone like Lucas Oil were to return as the title sponsor, with their capabilities, would it be great? Hell yes it would |
