I have to say the two races I attended last year were worth every freakin penny! I have to see them on dirt this year.

It's going to be hard to judge car counts. At the Hoosier Hundred last year there was something like 25-30 but by the time of the Belleville, 4-Crown or Syracuse there were only like 15 cars left.

Jr. Kurtz said he'll run only the miles, and Brian Tyler will be driving.

Great news!! Just like old times, and with Tyler at the helm they'll be a force to be reckoned with, too.

Absolutely in regards to makin' the trip worth while!! Beck says no problem on the Rend Lake outing. She said to tell ya' that we'll be camped right next to "party cove" and that we'll anchor amongst the revelers, at least for a little while!! LOL!! Ya' never really know what you're apt to see in party cove.

Nate you have to consider that almost every time they run half miles there is a smaller car count, especially the long distance races like Belleville and Syracuse. If you consider the car counts we have built on almost every single race.

Indy - 24 in 2013, 26 in 2014
Terre Haute - no race in 2013, 21 in 2014
Springfield - 20 in 2013, 25 in 2014
DuQuoin - 15 in 2013, 23 in 2014
Belleville - 13 in 2013, 15 in 2014
Eldora - 20 in 2013, 20 in 2014
Syracuse - no race in 2013, 15 in 2014

Thing is you have to consider what Andy has done for the series and he has gained back the faith of so many teams and built new relationships with others. I wholeheartedly believe we will continue to see the car counts grow and this year may be the most drastic growth we have seen yet because the hype is very high. The only place i worry about car counts is Belleville because it is such a long drive for most teams, to a half mile (versus a mile), and seems to be hard on motors.

I'm not at all downplaying whats going on with the Silver Crown series. I'm not a huge fan but I do go to the Hoosier and the 4-Crown and I'm glad to see it growing a bit. Hopefully they can revive the midget series in a similar manner.

Can't wait to see the #30 car. That's a dream come true! Hopefully they leave the side of the cockpit open like it should be. I really don't like the new cars, I only go because it's something my dad took me to when I was a kid.
