Wingers will have plenty to see next year with the NSL, Renegades, All-Stars, MOWA and Outlaws, plus others. I wonder if some non-wing drivers will switch with the purses being paid and number of races available running the wing.

I don't see how this is not big news for those that are going to run this series. Between NSL & Knoxville & Contingencies this is huge for those racers.

I'd like to see the Renegades step up to this kind of payout & if I could I would.

Yeah.... well the more money given out, the more people will show up. That is good money for those who will race the series.

This got me thinking and poking around. Here is an interesting comparison between the new NSL and the All Stars in payouts:

NSL is to payout $3,000-to-win per race. All Stars are paying $5,000-to-win for their standard shows.

NSL is paying out $75,000 to the champ. All Stars are paying out $30,000 to the champ.

An interesting comparison I thought. Completely different courses charted. One goes long on final payment while the other goes heavy on show-to-show. I am not in marketing, but I'm just wondering what goes into the thinking on both ends. Big money either way and good for all drivers involved, IMO.

It has been reported several times that there is not a sanctioning fee for a NSL race. The promoters are only responsible for the purse. The series sponsors (read owner) is responsilbe for the year end bonus structure.

It might be argued the USAC isn't "National" anymore since it's "National Series" only raced in 15 states this year, too. That's only 30%.

The race at Jacksonville Speedway will be a joint deal with the Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA). "Sprints Gone Wild" will be the name of the show and will pay $3,000 to win.
---------- --------- ---------- ---------- ----------
FROM THE JACKSONVILLE SPEEDWAY FACEBOOK PAGE.

Mark Your Calendars For May 15th... "Sprints Gone Wild"
Possibly 4 different 410 Winged Series to co-sanction this show

Our "Work In Progress" towards having one of the coolest sprint car shows in the Midwest is one step closer to reality as we are pleased to announce that the National Sprint League will be joining the Neal Tire MOWA Sprint Car Series Presented by Casey's General Stores on Friday, May 15th at the Jacksonville Speedway. Right now this event will pay the standard NSL purse of $3,000 to win.

We are in the progress of making the show even bigger with an even higher payout and with the hopeful addition of two other series having presence in this cross-series throw down. We really want to make this 'can't missevent' as big as possible.

This event will also mark the return of the awesome VIP experience from out Outlaw show last year. Pre-race party, food, complimentary beverages, pit access, reserved seats and more.

We are going to follow the same formula from last year offering VIP tickets first, then later making remaining general admission tickets available until the event is sold out. Though the end of the Christmas season while we wrap-up the loose ends on the purse and other series participation, VIP tickets, will be on sale for $50 (half the cost of the outlaw VIP ticket). If the remaining parts of this show come together aw we hope, the price for the VIP tickets after Christmas will be $60.

Stay tuned for out VIP ticket offer later tonight or Monday.

ADD another race to the schedule at St Francois County Raceway in Missouri on Thursday, May 28th.
This is per the tracks Facebook page.

ALSO the race at Jacksonville (IL) has added the All Star Sprints as the 3rd of possibly 4 sanctioning series to their race that includes, NSL, MOWA, & ASCoC and will now pay $5,000 to win
