Did Chet Philips (sp?) retire?

Not sure why Chet Fillip is not here, he has been at the past several races in a wild, home built silver car.

The David Steele thing is puzzling. It was annoucned in January (by a few members of the Florida racing media) he was coming to the Little 500. They have been preparing the car for the past several months and now they are not coming due to engine issues. Seems like someone could of loaned him an engine for his final Little 500 race. Plus, he is getting into the Little 500 Hall of Fame this year.

Don Wilshe or anyone.... can we help out a pavement legend run one last 500?
