I believe that there were 21 Sprinters...

Again, good job to Mitch and Brett! :thumb

I agree with Chad's comments about the willingness of the teams to help each other out. I've always been able to find that one part, or the help that I need to get back on the track again. I enjoy racing with such a good group of people, and had a great time last night. I think that the way the race went reflects our respect for one and other. I have been thinking back and I can't recall running in another race that went 20 laps green to checkered... I heard that it was a pretty good race too...

I think that also is a statement about the condition of the race track last night. I thought that the guys at Lincoln gave us a great track that was wide and fast; and as stated, the show was run very well, and we were done early. Thanks to Hammer for having us, and I hope that they'll have us back again.

I think a Sprint and Midget show in Lincoln in the evening following the SC race at the state fairgrounds would draw a crowd, and should be considered for the future. But that's my two cents...

Someone forgot to mention the race was 30 laps with no yellows. Nice job on the track also.

As a fan I was very impressed with the track preparation last night, it was racy all night long including all thirty laps of the feature. The ten minutes of track prep between a couple of the races seemed to do the job. As a race fan I commend you Mr. Hammer. The heat races were very competitive and the feature had little races going on within the whole thirty laps. I agree with the two day format with Jacksonville, I believe that would help the car count significantly. Thanks again Mr. Hammer for getting me back to Springfiled by 10:15.

:thumbThought it was pretty cool seeing several cars from Indiana and racing with new people. Hopefully the Biro's, Clarke's, Gurley's and everyone else had fun. You guys were fun to race with.

I have had four or five people ask me since saturday about a race the night following the silver crown race in Springfield, honestly I had not thought about it before but what a great weekend that would be. Run Jacksonville Friday night. Champ cars Saturday and then head 20 miles up the road for Lincoln. Ahhhh if only we could make our dreams a reality......... (Hopefully Billy West and Hammer have also heard the same suggestions) :applaud:
